NAIDOC Week - We Learn On Country - Video Links

We had a lovely celebration of NAIDOC week at the Cinema, with screenings of WE LEARN ON COUNTRY 1 and WE LEARN ON COUNTRY 2.

For those who missed the screenings, or if you'd like to revisit these amazing local documentaries, please see the YouTube links below.

Experience the beauty and history of the Hilltops region as this captivating film takes us on a journey to significant Aboriginal landmarks such as Monteagle's Tout Park Lookout, Koorawatha Falls, and Murringo Gap.

Through Aunty Enid's storytelling and some breathtaking drone footage, you'll gain a deeper understanding of and a stronger connection with these sacred sites.

The film is a result of a grant secured by Young Public School teacher Amanda Butt from the National Indigenous Agency Australia in 2020. This project was a collaboration between the Hilltops Organisation of Public Schools (HOOPS), the Local Aboriginal Lands Council, Aunty Enid Clarke and her family, and local videographer Dean Kinlyside.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to connect with our local heritage and celebrate NAIDOC Week.
