SATURDAY 06 DECEMBER – 1.00pm to 4.00pm
During the Cherry Festival we will be opening our doors to the hot, the tired, the weary, and the just-want-to-sit-down-ers. The Cinema will be open on Saturday from 1.00pm to 4.00pm.
We're celebrating an anniversary - 20 Years of Southern Cross Cinema! To honour our creation (and our creators!) we have a lovely display of memorabilia and media from the development of the Cinema, from concept to construction to commencement. The retrospective is on display in our lobby.
We are also hosting an Open House Art Exhibition, presented by Young Society of Artists, in Studio One (upstairs).
We have toilet facilities, air-conditioning, a free library and reading zone, and a heap of comfy seats. Plus we have drinks and ice-creams to keep you cool!
